Curtis Abbott
Identity
As a motion and video production professional, Curtis Abbott knows that a killer brand that delivers on its promises is the key to a phenomenal market presence. When I first met Curtis, he was already delivering on his promises to his clients – but his brand was lacking. Wanting to establish a core identity and create a market presence in a saturated field, Curtis partnered with me to create an identity that would be easily recognized in any medium and one which would tie in his initials, “CA”. My initial inspiration was to portray a sense of forward motion and progression. The identity also needed to remain modern and be adaptable for intricate interfaces.
Working closely with Curtis, I designed a logo that connected his initials, “CA”, as a continuous path – creating both elegance and action. The logo portrayed a modern feel which fit his need of motion and progression.
The design process included concept sketches, Illustrator and Photoshop.
